Luxury vinyl flooring: Strong enough for the heaviest foot traffic

Luxury vinyl (also called LVF) is layered and, at the top, is a transparent, strong melamine wear layer that protects the floor from scratches and scuff. It's also five times thicker than the original product; it should also be noted that this material is 100% waterproof so that it can be submerged or spilled on without damage.

The look of hardwood

Everyone seems to be clamoring for luxury vinyl plank these days. The vinyl is cut into strips and mounted on boards to mimic hardwood planks. The images are taken with high-definition photography and show knots, wormholes, grains, and swirls.

LVP comes in so many wood tones that it's easy to install it in any decor, from traditional to California coastal and more. It's also available in several textured looks, such as wire-brushed, hand scraped, weathered, and distressed.
Stone or tile? Choose luxury vinyl tile!
Square tile-sized pieces, referred to as LVT, can be used with or without grout and come in tile patterns that include hexagons, triangles, diamonds, geometrics, flora, fauna, and more. Stone looks include marble, granite, quartz, slate, travertine, terrazzo, and more.

Now, you’re free to use any form as you choose; for example, some will use vinyl plank for a stone echo, as they prefer the larger format and fewer seams for a more continuous look like that of a quarried slab.

Other benefits include:

1. Affordability. The images are so life-like that even the flooring experts sometimes have trouble telling the difference between that and the real thing. You'll know, though, because you won't pay nearly the same price as you would for the genuine materials.
2. Waterproof: The capability is inherent in waterproof materials, so it needs no coating to help it. Submerge or spill on it, wipe it dry, and it's good to go.
3. Low maintenance. This only needs regular sweeping and periodic mopping.
4. Uncomplicated installation: This can be glued, but the floating floor is the most common technique.
